DNA may sound small, but the impact is huge. At Biolegio, you work with synthetic DNA that is used worldwide for applications such as PCR and sequencing. What will you do?

You will become part of our production process for synthetic DNA (oligonucleotides). Together with our production team, you ensure that everything, from synthesis to shipping, runs smoothly.

Specifically, this means

• Performing DNA synthesis and post-processing of samples
• Checking yields (Plate reader, Nanodrop)
• Purifying DNA (HPLC, gel electrophoresis)
• Performing quality control (LC & MS)
• Preparing products for shipment
• Maintaining laboratory equipment (DNA synthesizers & Hamilton liquid handler)

What do you bring?

• MLO diploma or equivalent (chemistry/molecular biology
• At least 6 months of experience working or interning in a laboratory
• Ability to work accurately and precisely
• Basic knowledge of pipetting, molecular calculations, and DNA techniques
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
• You will be working in an international team, so English is a must

Experience with DNA synthesis? Great! No experience? We will teach you the ropes.
